You ever hear someone say something that’s so messed up
that all you can say is “Whew!”
with your shoulders up to your ears
because you were so shocked
I don’t know anybody
who works for McDonald’s
or Burger King
But I know one at Wendy’s
And I know it must be hard
to do that job if you’re grown
I did it for about a month
When I was sixteen
and thought to myself
“Oh! I can’t do this!”
It takes a special person
to do that
especially if that’s the only choice
they have for whatever reason
or mistake they made
to land them there
That’s hard…
