They have been given to me

All those lives that I touch

I’m supposed to write something to them that means so much

They have been given to me

So that I may touch their hearts

I’m supposed to say something that makes their lives seem less far apart

They have been given to me

Entrusted to my care

To give them hope in something that they might not ever dare

They have been given to me

To do as I please

Because the Creator knows for them I’ll quickly bend my knees

They have been given to me

And I can’t mess that up

I can never allow myself to think I’m such & much
