>Able But Not Always Willing

>One day we’ll recognize that our minds are fully capable
It may take a few times but our minds are completely shapeable
We are pre-designed to do those things that we think we can’t
We just need to make sure that our minds are open to the seeds that we plant
Being able doesn’t always mean that we are willing
We sometimes obey to the emotions that we are feeling
We have the ability to let go of things that aren’t right
But our minds are comfortable to stay within our own plight
We contend that we are ready for a change
But we run when we begin to feel strange
If we stay the course we’ll obtain a new norm
We’ll even wonder why we previously conformed
We must be willing to shut some unhealthy doors
To shake things up and break down the foundation of our floors
We can’t always be able but never willing
Doesn’t the thought of that sound chilling?
We must become better representations of ourselves
Be willing to go deeper than what we have ever delved
If we continue on a path of being unwilling
We’ll never live a life that’s thrilling
