>Re-Evaluation

>By default we should reach back into the events from today
To examine the reality of the person that we portray
To ask ourselves what valuable lessons did we learn
Were there any tables that we may be able to turn
Concentrating on our treatment of other people
Praying that if we did any wrong there wouldn’t be a sequel
Our hearts know that on that decision our future depends
Remembering to smile at the progress that we have made
And some of the sacrifices that we ultimately forgave
That equipped us with the ability to be so much more
Than to sink even lower than the floor
To know that our foundation should be deeply rooted
So we continue to cement ourselves to be suited
For the part in life that we must play
Mentally conspiring on which parts of us to slay
So we force our tomorrow to be a better today
