Generational curse to the spiritual slave democracy
Wings being clipped during infancy disabling one to fly
Beaten down early in life teaching the bird not to try

What do you mean?
Surrounding us are those who have been casualties of what feels like mental or physical battles or wars. Some are still held captive mentally by those issues and aren't able to move forward. Most of those issues stem from familial dysfunctions; drugs, molestation, rape, or beaten down mentally or physically. At a young age, for some their wings were clipped and they're unable to try because they feel they were beaten down by life and by others who told them that they wouldn't amount to anything. Question: Who will be strong enough after undergoing severe or constant suffering will be able to unlock themselves from that prison?
