>I Remember That Day

>I remember the day that I forgot to love you
The one day I forgot to do that thing we do
I think I still love you of course
And I’m not sure I want that divorce
But maybe life is moving in a new direction
And this is probably for your and my protection
You know things have been different for quite some time
And we’ve been walking around like everything’s just fine
Both of us have done alot of changing
And I’m not sure if life’s worth re-arranging
It’s not about the grass being any greener
But achieving goals cause you know I’m a dreamer
Even though this thing is not all about me
I can tell you feel the same, I’ve got eyes, I can see
My spirit is telling me that you’re done too
It seems you’re not able to say the words “We’re though”
If we wait to see who’s going to say the words first
it might take too long and by then things will be worse
We both know that we’ve got love for one another
But it’s evident that we don’t want to be the other’s lover
One thing is most definate and clearly for sure
We shouldn’t taint what we have cause it’s still real & pure
Maybe one day when life has slown down
We’ll still have that connection and will want each other around
But life grows sometimes in what seems to be a different path
And it doesn’t mean that we should write our Epitaph
For I know that we were meant to be
But maybe just in another capacity
