If you open your heart to seek that which truly lies within
You’ll find that the old layers will fall away and see change begin
First, give honor to the Spirit that fills your life with purpose
You’ll be extended the gift of meaning and the benefit to having surplus
An excess of inspired energy to focus on things that truly matter
Not exposing your energy to things in life that if allowed could possibly shatter
Redirect your energy from trials that purposely try to hinder
And don’t walk around in numbness or be that “Great Pretender”
But shed the old skin that has died long ago
Give yourself new meaning as you regenerate and grow
