>Vandalized Minds

>Some of our minds are vandalized by intense worry
Even today’s headline can change your mental story
Tormented anticipation of what may never be
Can wage war on the consciousness of your very own psyche
Giving all of your energy to a negative forecast
Inventing predetermined thoughts are a strenuous task
Overextending your thinking past the validity of facts
Will send your mind into a triatholon taking you off track
Have you ever thought about something to a horrendous extent
And when you looked up you notice the time you’ve spent
The origin of the matter was truly tiny in proportion
But when your thinking was over the picture was in major distortion
Or you’ve given in to your thoughts allowing it to arrest your entire day
Forcing you to post bail on the thoughts from today
Most of us are anxious about issues in which we have no control
But dangerous thinking is like putting your mind on parole
Don’t allow your mind to be victimized by the circumstance of worry
Execute those thoughts put the final nail in the coffin and bury
Redirect your thinking from extreme consequence
Assign a higher power to represent your defense
Be strong with your thoughts and put them under submission
Don’t be tempted to co-sign every thought and fuel their ignition
Intervene on those thoughts and stop them at their source
Challenge chronic negative thinking with vigilance and force
