>To you three days sober might not sound that rough
But if you understood the value in that you’d know she’s 72 hours tough
I know you probably see a cracked out ole’ feen
But before she looked like this she was the homecoming Queen
Years of selling her body and robbing men for crack
Turned her into the way she is and made her look like that
Thank God for touching her way deep down in her spirit
And thank God for that little still voice and her ability to hear it
None of us could understand why she chose a life of addiction
And neither could we understand why God chose her heart for his conviction
But as we all know that God can use even someone like her
Changing her heart to the most perfect scent of Frankincense & Myrrh
It’s beautiful to hear the words that she now speaks
And how she’s excited about God and her thoughs of mentoring or to teach
With clarity of mind she remembers all of her dreams
And she ponders that it’s not too late as it seems
No one would’ve thought that the Creator would use her as his vessel
But when she became weary of that life it was God’s bossom that she did nestle
Although it’s still rough for her to think of herself as a Queen
Daily she’s still trying to let go of the past of what she has done and has seen
For all of us who would’ve walked past her and turned our nose up at her and her addictions
I hope that it is now us that God has turned his most precious convictions
