>Living Paycheck To Paycheck

>Living paycheck to paycheck will suck you into a mental strain
I know you wish sometimes when the sky opened up it would drop dollars instead of rain
Some of us have had to run on payday to pay that bi-weekly pimp
Didnt have any extra money couldn’t even buy those jumbo shrimp
It’s crazy when the next day after you got paid you’re broke
Makes you think if I only could make people laugh and could tell a good joke
Sitting at home trying to think of a way to make your ends meet
Sometimes the worries of all your bills makes you lose good sleep
Robbing the cable company to pay the light company is truly a juggling act
And now somebody’s calling about a bill, something from almost seven years back
Now they’re calling you all day every day about a bill you didn’t even know that you had
And the person on the other end of the phone is acting like you ran up their personal tab
I know that they know there’s a recession going on out here
Like if you  had the money you wouldn’t be trying to disappear
Boy, I know you can’t wait for the time that you come up
Instead of wishing on a star and praying for good luck
What about the time you needed something so bad and you had to do without
That’s when you truly learned what necessity was really all about
What about the time you had to get creative about your next meal
Eating something you’ve concocted trying to get your stomach to be filled
What about the time that you got blind-sided and you lost your job
You didn’t want to go home couldn’t even turn the door knob
Yeah, living paycheck to paycheck really does suck
But thank God for his blessings and not man’s luck
