>Negativity Is Contagious

>As soon as you opened the door you could feel the spirit of negativity
It wasn’t that anyone in particular was around and there was no activity
You tried to not let that vibe enter your very own space
But it was something that was evident roaming around in that place
As the day moved on and others felt it too
There became many different spirits and the place became a zoo
As one negative spirit spoke to another it got outrageous
You could see with the naked eye that negativity is contagious
Thinking that I’ll stay to myself and not let negativity get near me
But as the week grew on I became something that I thought I could never be
Just to see people coming my way or calling me on my phone
I felt harsh negative vibes and was wishing they would leave me alone
As their petty issues and “Me First” attitudes blew up
I began to rage inside because this is my job and I felt stuck
As they walk towards me and try to get my immediate attention
That ole’ negative vibe rose up, my face and mouth yielded uttermost contention
As the last day finally came and it was the end of the week
I had been training a new employee who began to speak
She not only felt but heard how the spirit of negativity had afflicted
But she had to say out of her very own mouth how my words should be restricted
You see, as contagious as negativity is, I had to realize that she was absolutely right
So as a new week approaches I’ll be sure to be prayed up and give negativity a hell of a fight.
