Sometimes in life there comes a shaking time
Don’t look to the left or right, just stay on the grind
It’s not about you caring any less
But it’s your time to be at your very best
Those that walk with you and stay tried & true
Be sure that you show much love & give them their due
If you should have to walk your journey alone
know that God is closer than any friend on the phone
If your journey was laid out by the Creator
He’ll order your steps faster than any elevator
Keep your face forward and don’t look back
For if you do the devil will surely be on the attack
If things don’t seem to be going as plan
Don’t stop and get distracted by any woman or man
Know that for all you go through there’s got to be a reward
